Congressman Darin LaHood’s Visit to Morton
On Friday, October 21, 2022, Congressman Darin LaHood visited the Village of Morton. Congressman LaHood and Mayor Kaufman toured the site of the Precision Planting expansion as well as the new Water Treatment Plant. They also made a stop at Midwest Food Bank which is currently responsible for distributing $36 million worth of food to more than 2,050 non-profits every month. Midwest Food Bank has also sent over 1 million meals to the citizens of Ukraine and plans to send an additional 250,000 meals next month.
